研究テーマ(研究室紹介)

 当分野は2015年4月に分子細胞病理学分野と人体がん病理学分野が統合されて出来ました。病理学とは、病気の本態、原因、転帰を明らかにする学問です。当分野では、がんのゲノム変異やムチンの発現、デジタル病理をメインテーマとして、従来の病理組織学的手法を基盤に、生化学、分子生物学的手法やIT技術を駆使して研究を行っています。また大学病院の病理診断科とヒトゲノム遺伝子解析センターを一体運営しており、病病連携を含む年間一万件を超える病理診断を行うと同時に、がんゲノム医療にも積極的に参画しています。
