国際歯科・人間科学分野
当分野では、国際的また学際的に国際貢献が果たせる歯科医師、同時に人文科学的な視点からも患者や医療問題を理解できる医療人の育成を担当しています。また、研究においては、平間は歯科医療にかかわる行動科学を柱に歯科恐怖のコントロールや口腔健康の不均衡、歯科受診行動、についての研究を多国籍な研究チームを組み行いなっています。信友は思想史的方法により、哲学・社会思想・生命倫理的問題の分析を行っています。
