当分野では、口唇口蓋裂、口腔がん、外傷、顎骨のう胞などの患者様の手術における麻酔管理、心身障がい児（者）の歯科治療における麻酔管理、高血圧、糖尿病、心筋梗塞後や狭心症、心臓弁膜症などの心疾患、歯科治療恐怖症などの患者の歯科治療における全身管理や、口腔顎顔面領域の慢性疼痛に対する治療を行っています。研究面では、広く全身管理、気道管理、術後管理、疼痛管理に関連するトピックスの研究を行い、患者様に安全で快適な歯科治療を提供することを目標としています。
