本講座は鹿児島県の寄附により設置された
感染症専門医養成を目的とした講座です。

多職種と連携しリーダーシップを発揮できる専門的で高度な知見をもつ感染症専門医を養成し、県内外の感染症の専門家とネットワークを構築することで、鹿児島県内における新興・再興感染症患者の診療能力、抗菌薬適正使用、医療機関や福祉施設等における感染管理の強化・実地疫学、および感染症対策・治療研究の体制強化を目的としています。

設置期間は2023年7月から2027年3月までの予定です。
